Windows Mobile: General problems

After installation, Hoiio crashes at the splash screen when I try to launch it. My phone language is set to Chinese.
This seems to be an issue with the .NET Compact Framework required by Hoiio when running on phones where the user has changed the default language in Regional Settings to Chinese. The problem causes Hoiio to crash when trying to access the system's current time. The problem seems to happen frequently on HTC phones with the language set to Chinese (Singapore). Changing the language in Regional Settings to English will allow Hoiio to run normally. However, if you want to use Chinese as the default language, please use the following workaround:
1. Open Region Settings in Start>Settings>System
2. In the Region tab, ensure that the default language is set to the preferred Chinese option, for example, Chinese (Singapore)
3. In the Date tab, under Calendar Type, select another type of calendar, instead of Gregorian Calendar.
4. Click OK to save the settings and reboot your phone. Hoiio should be able to start normally.
An error message 'An unexpected error occurred with Hoiio.exe' is displayed and Hoiio is terminated.
There may be several reasons for this error.  Please try the following suggestion in the order listed
Restart Hoiio, try to repeat what you were doing when the problem occurred.
If the problem still persists, try to log out (Main menu>Settings>Account SettingsOptions>Logout) and log in again.
If the problem still persists, try to exit Hoiio, reboot the phone, and re-install Hoiio
If the problem still persists, try to download and install the latest version of Hoiio
If the problem still appears, please provide the following information:
Provide the exact error message that is displayed on the screen. If there is a 'Details' button, click on that button and give us any additional information that is displayed.
The Hoiio version number. You can get these information from Hoiio Main Menu>Settings>About
The phone model and version information. You can get these information from Start>Settings>System>About
Also was there any special software that was installed on the phone before Hoiio is installed?
The error log file (named ErrorLog.txt) found in the Hoiio installation folder, which can be any of the following
\Program Files\Hoiio
\Program Files\Hoiio for Smartphone
\Storage Card\Program Files\Hoiio
\Storage Card\Program Files\Hoiio for Smartphone.
