You will need an iTunes account in order to download apps from App Store. iTunes account requires a credit card. But if you do not wish to register with a credit card, you may follow the instructions here.

I don't have App Store on my iPhone.

App Store is only available for iPhone with OS version 2.0 and above. If you can't find App Store in the Home screen, your iPhone should be OS version 1.0. You can check your iPhone OS version by Settings > General > About > Version. To upgrade your iPhone, follow the instructions here.

I encountered an error: "App requires iPhone OS 2.1 to run".

Hoiio is supported for iPhones running OS version 2.1 and above. You can check your iPhone OS version by Settings > General > About > Version. To upgrade your iPhone firmware, follow the instructions here.

Can I install on an iPod Touch?

Yes, you can download and install Hoiio on a iPod Touch. However, iPod Touch does not come with phone capability, therefore you will not be able to receive your call nor receive SMS.

Can I use Hoiio with Wifi?

You can use a working Wifi access point with Hoiio. If you have Wifi and it is not working, check the following:

• Check that the phone display the Wifi symbol, usually at the top left corner. To turn on Wifi, go to Settings >  Wi-Fi.
• Check that the Wifi access point is working well. Try accessing a website from the Safari.

For Hoiio Personal, how do I check the call rate without calling out?

You need to key in the number to call MANUALLY, then press the Rate button to check the rate.
