This is your Hoiio account information that the application is using to make calls and send SMS. You can change to a different account by keying in the account information and click Log in.
This will clear your Hoiio log in information and quit Hoiio. When you start Hoiio again, you will be prompted to log in as if you have just installed Hoiio.
If you establish a callback call, Hoiio will call the number configured in the Call From first then Hoiio will connect the call to the destination. By default, the number in the Call From field will be the number you register with Hoiio (i.e. your mobile number).
Hoiio Number settings will determine the way Hoiio Number forwards the calls to you. For example, when someone calls your Hoiio Number, you could receive the call at the forwarded number.
Change the caller ID that is shown to the people you call. You could choose one of the following options:
There are 5 settings that decide if a call is to be made via Hoiio. These settings are based on 5 scenarios that a Hoiio user might encounter - local calls, international calls, local calls when roaming, international calls when roaming and calling home when roaming. For each of the 5 settings, there are 3 options to choose from:
This applies for calls made from home country to local numbers.
This applies for calls made from home country to overseas numbers.
This applies for calls made from an overseas country to numbers in that overseas country. E.g. you have a Singapore phone roaming in China and you use your phone to call a China number.
This applies for calls made from an overseas country other than the home country. E.g. you have a Singapore phone roaming in China and you use your phone to call Australian number.
This applies for calls made from an overseas country to numbers in the home country. E.g. you have a Singapore phone roaming in China and you use your phone to call Singapore number.
Yes - When you create, reply or forward messages, Hoiio composer will be used.
No - Hoiio composer will not be used.
Tip: It is recommended to select Yes, as Hoiio composer has all the functionalities of the regular composer, plus the option to send SMS using Hoiio.
Always ask - Prompt to use Hoiio.
Always use Hoiio - Use Hoiio automatically.
International SMS only - For international recipients, use Hoiio automatically. For local recipients, use operator.
Note: SMS Activation Rule is only in effect when the Green button is pressed. If you press Options > 'Send using Hoiio', the SMS will be sent using Hoiio. If you select Options > Send, the SMS will be sent using operator.
Always ask: If Hoiio fails to send the SMS, prompt to send the SMS through operator.
Select and prioritize the access points that Hoiio will automatically connect to for Internet connectivity.
This field should be set to the country code in which you are staying. If you call without any country prefix, Hoiio will append this country code. E.g. if Country Code is set to +65, when you call 9000000, Hoiio will append the number so it becomes: +6590000000. On the other hand, if you call +601000000, Hoiio will not append any country code.
This field should be set to the area code in which you are staying. Otherwise, you can leave this field blank.
Enter your country code as the dialing prefix.
Note: If the dialing prefix is 65 (Singapore), dialing 11110000 will become +6511110000.
On - When the phone reboots, Hoiio will auto start and run in the background.
Off - When the phone reboots, Hoiio will not auto start.
Auto disconnect - The Internet connection will disconnect right after use (1min).
Disconnect when idle - The Internet connection will disconnect after a period of inactivity (10mins).
Always connected - The Internet connection will never be disconnected.
