Making a Call

Like any other iPhone applications, you need to tap Hoiio icon to use the application. 

1. Open Hoiio
2. You can key in the number you want to call using the keypad or select Contacts to access your phone book
3. Press Call

Calling Option

Hoiio iPhone app provides the following calling options

• Callback . The calling method is callback and Hoiio app will connect to Hoiio server via data connection (GPRS/WiFi/3G).
• Internet Call.  The call directly gets through. You will not receive a callback anymore. You can maximise your bundled data to make Hoiio calls.

When You Are Overseas

When you are overseas, you might not be able to initiate the call using Hoiio. This is because your iPhone may not be connected to Internet when you are overseas while the only calling option available for Hoiio iPhone app is Callback Internet.

You can connect your iPhone to WiFi or enable data roaming before you call using Hoiio. Check out the tips on enabling iPhone data roaming without incurring too much data roaming charges.
